This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which We collect, use, maintain, and disclose information collected from users ("Users," "You," or "Your") of the Sparkplg App and all of Our Services. This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected or submitted on Sparkplg's website and Our apps for iPhone and any other devices and platforms.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party websites or platforms. To understand how any third party (including Apple and Google) treats Your information, You should read their own privacy policies. By downloading and/or registering to use Our mobile app ("Sparkplg App"), visiting Our website (currently located at https://sparkplg.com), or accessing or using Our Services, You have agreed to be subject to this Privacy Policy, as well as Our Terms of Service.
Please read this entire Privacy Policy BEFORE using any of Our Services. Do not use any of Our Services if You are unwilling or ineligible to accept the terms of this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We consider "Personal Information" to be information that identifies an individual (like a name or email address) or that relates to an identifiable individual (like an IP address).
Account Information: When You create an account on the Sparkplg App, You provide Us with the following Personal Information: Your email address and password. Your password is encrypted and We never see or have access to it. You may optionally provide Your name.
Usage Data: Usage Data generated through Your use of the Sparkplg App may include:
- Tracks You listen to, play history, and listening duration
- Playlists You create
- Tracks You like or save
- Categories and content You interact with
- App features You use and time spent in the app
We carry out this processing for the purposes of providing personalized recommendations and improving Our Services. We do not use Your Usage Data for identification purposes, but may use such data as anonymous or aggregated information.
Device Information: We may collect information about Your device, including device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, browser type, and IP address.
Third-Party Sources: If You create or log into Your account through a third-party service (such as Apple Sign-In or Google), We may have access to certain information from that account, such as Your name and email address, in accordance with the authorization procedures set by that service.
2. Information Collected When You Make Purchases
We do not collect or process credit or debit card data for Your purchase of any Sparkplg products or services. Apple and Google collect such data with respect to in-app purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (collectively, "Payment Processors").
Payment Processors will utilize Your financial information in order to process Your payments. By utilizing Our Services, You agree that You are bound by the applicable Payment Processor's terms and policies.
We have no control over, and are not responsible for, any Payment Processor's use of Your Personal Information. We do not receive or store any of Your financial information as part of Your transactions with such Payment Processors.
3. How We Use Your Information
We and Our third-party service providers may use Your Personal Information to:
- Provide the Sparkplg App and Our Services for Your use
- Set up and administer Your account
- Manage Your account and send administrative messages such as security alerts, technical notices, and support messages
- Maintain Our Services, including providing customer service and support
- Personalize Your experience by presenting content and recommendations tailored to You
- Analyze, improve, or enhance Our Services
- Send You informational or educational communications related to Your use of Sparkplg products and services

We may use third-party analytics tools to monitor and analyze the use of Our Services and collect usage information. These analytics tools collect information about how Users interact with Our Services, such as how often Users access the app, what content they engage with, and device information including IP addresses.
The analytics tools' ability to use and share information about Your use of Our Services is governed by the applicable third party's terms and privacy policies.

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase as Our backend service provider, which employs robust security practices.
Our Services may be hosted on servers located outside the country in which You reside, including in the United States. By using Our Services, You consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While We implement commercially reasonable security measures, We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that You transmit to Us.
8. Data Retention
We retain Your Personal Information for as long as Your account is active or as needed to provide You with Our Services. We may retain Your Personal Information even after You have closed Your account if retention is reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce this Privacy Policy and Our Terms of Service.
When We no longer need Personal Information for such purposes, We will delete or anonymize it in accordance with Our security procedures. When You delete Your account, We will delete or anonymize Your Personal Information within 30 days, unless We are required to retain it for legal purposes.

You can request all data associated with Your account to be permanently deleted from Our Services at any time. You may delete Your account directly within the Sparkplg App through Your account settings. You may also request data deletion by contacting Us at [email protected] and We will act promptly.
Please note that permanently deleting Your account will erase all of Your Personal Information stored by Us and Our service providers. Consequently, You will no longer be able to use or access the Services and Your account cannot be restored.
10. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:

- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate Personal Information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of Your account and Personal Data through the app or by contacting Us.

The Sparkplg App and Our Services (including any informational or educational content) are not a medical service and are not HIPAA compliant. Our Service is not designed to be a secure storage solution for private health data. We do not collect information that would be deemed Protected Health Information (PHI). The motivational and inspirational content provided through Our Services is for educational and informational purposes only and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical or psychological advice.
12. Children's Privacy
Our Services are intended for adults and children ages 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13 years of age. If We become aware that a child under 13 has provided Us with Personal Information, We will take steps to delete such information and terminate the child's account.

13. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers include "Do Not Track" features which send a signal to websites indicating You do not wish to be tracked. At this time, Sparkplg does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals.
